Create a Presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint 2003: Part 1 of 2
Intended Audience:
Faculty, staff, graduate students
Prerequisite Skills:
Completion of the appropriate introductory PowerPoint course or equivalent knowledge
Course Description:
You will use PPT wizard to create a presentation that you can take back to work. The course is broken into two sessions, part II is offered on May 23 at 8:30 - 11:00am. Please try to attend both sessions. The first step toward a custom-made presentation. Course includes: -- Inserting slides and text -- Editing, selecting, replacing, and deleting text -- Cutting, copying, and pasting text -- Using the Undo, Redo, and Repeat -- Using the Outline View -- Finding and Replacing Text

Create a Presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint 2003: Part 2 of 2
Intended Audience:
Faculty and staff
Prerequisite Skills:
Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 and a working knowledge of using toolbars and menus. As this is a series, beginning with part 1 is recommended, but not required.
Course Description:
The next step in creating a custom-made presentation. You will continue working with the presentation created in Part 1. You will customize this presentation and enhance its visual appeal. Formatting your presentation including: -- Formatting Fonts -- Using the Fromat Painter -- Inserting Symbols and Special Characters -- Apply a Template's Formatting -- Using the Slide Master -- Changing the Background of your slides -- Tips and Tricks with Formatting
